Google Calendar
When you choose to connect a Google account, Woiz AI integrates with Google Calendar so your AI assistant can book and manage appointments on your behalf. This is an optional feature that you enable and authorize yourself — Woiz AI never accesses your Google account unless you connect it.
What the integration does
- Shows the calendars available in your connected Google account so you can pick which one to use.
- Checks your real-time availability (free/busy) before offering appointment times to callers.
- Creates, updates, and cancels appointment events on your selected calendar as bookings change.
- Reads your calendar list metadata (calendar names, time zones, and access roles) to configure scheduling correctly.
Why Google account access is requested
Woiz AI requests calendar access so the assistant can both read your availability and write appointment events — the two capabilities required to book, reschedule, and cancel appointments automatically while keeping your Google Calendar in sync. We request only the access needed to deliver these scheduling features.
How your Google data is handled
Woiz AI's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not sell Google API data, use it for advertising, use it for surveillance, or use it to train generalized AI or machine learning models. Google OAuth tokens are stored encrypted at rest, and you can disconnect the integration at any time from your account settings.
